Sometimes we get so hard of hearing in the spiritual realm that God has to shout to be heard. Most often, it isn't a pleasant experience.

Dear sister,
There are also times where there are things occurring in the Spiritual realm that hinder us from hearing from Him, not just because of our sins alone. In the book of Daniel, the angle Gabriel came late because of hindrances from the demons (princes of Persia) that stopped him from coming to deliver God’s message until the archangel Michael came to his aid. We are to be persistent in praying to hear from Him, preparing ourselves to hear what He wants us to hear (and not so much on what we want to hear), and God will answer in His time.

Thanks for stopping by and leaving your comment. I agree that our sins often hinder us from hearing from God. Sometimes, too, we just get so used to hearing things a certain way that they bypass our thinking and we need to hear it in a more creative or loud manner in order for it to get through to us.
