Needs And Richness

The depth of our need can never compare to the depth of God's riches, all of which are ours in Christ Jesus. Because of Christ's blood and God's mercy, we can rest, totally rest, in God, knowing He will provide everything we need. Praise God!

Work = Profit

All hard work brings a profit, either here or in eternity, or both.

The Glory He Brings

We know God wants what is best for each of us, not just because of His character, but because of His promise and desire to bring glory to His name. How would glory be brought in a holy way if God allowed bad things to happen to His people for no reason, or if He failed to provide for their needs? Many suffer around the world, yet those who trust God are content knowing Him - even if perchance there's little food to eat or water to drink, their eternity is secure. That eternal security and the contentment it brings is the ultimate glory God brings to Himself through us, His beloved children.

Patience Is Good

Patience often leads to good surprises beyond what we had dreamed.

Changes

God's plans for us never change, the problem is, we only see part of them at any given time.

No Peripheral Vision Means Trouble

Living by human nature is like living without peripheral vision. Circumstances or Satan come along to whack us upside the head, and only if we have God can we avoid being hit.

God's Heart

When we take the time to know God's heart, we find it much easier to trust His hand.

God's Hand

God's heart moves His hand. Do you want to see God's hand in your life? Seek His heart. All the old testament prophets were this way. They sought God's heart, and saw His hand.

God's Word, Our Atlas

If God's Word is our atlas, His Spirit is our life. God's Word helps us to know and find His Spirit's will, character, and ultimately, His life.

Freedom To Be Ourselves

In Christ we have the freedom to become who God wants us to be, and in the end we discover that is who we wanted to be all along.

Rest = Food

Resting in God is food for the soul.

God's Plans

God's plans are rarely ours - they're better.

God Has A Way

God always has a way for His will. Even when it seems impossible, God has a way. All we need to do is trust and do as He leads.

Unexpected

God may ask us to do the unexpected, but that's only because we're not Him. His plans may be unexpected to us, but He's known all along what they were, and nothing takes Him by surprise.

God's Will

Seek God. God's will without God will be utterly hopeless and painful, thus His reason for dying on a cross to give us Himself. God's will with God is indescribably and unmatchably great.

Seek God

It's good to seek God's will - it's great to seek God.

God Is Good

"God is good - all the time."

This phrase has rung out in many a church in the past several years, yet I wonder how many of us miss out on the true meaning behind it. I know I've been guilty of interpreting the phrase "God is good" to mean "God does good," but that's not what it says. I'm so glad to know that God is good, and His actions stem from that inherent goodness. Praise God!

There is nothing God hates more than sin, and no one God loves more than sinners.

Tiny Packages

Big things come in little packages. God Himself came in the form of a tiny baby, and in so doing gave us each the biggest gift ever seen.
